Key Responsibilities

• Support US Banks Data Governance / Data Risk program for driving compliance with the Firm’s Global Data Policy and procedures as well as implementing the Firm’s Sensitive Data Program and other similar firm wide data programs for the U.S. Banks for Wealth Management (WM), Institutional Securities Group (ISG) and legacy E*TRADE Banks.

• Document/Track Critical Data Element (CDE) data ownership, data authority, data sourcing, data quality and data cataloging.

• Document/Track details of data quality rule results and potential risk.

• Compile data from various sources and stakeholders to produce regular metric reporting for Management.

• Create and maintain PowerPoint slides/deck around the metrics (dashboards, charts, graphs, commentary).

• Document/Track data issues, work with stakeholders to confirm.

• Assist in developing and establishing consistent data governance processes and reporting.


Qualifications – Skills required:

• BA/BS degree.

• 5-8 years of professional experience, preferably in financial services industry.

• Experience with data governance, data analysis, data lineage processes is a plus.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (business product partners, technology, firm data divisional offices, compliance, Second Line Risk and Audit).

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle, prioritize multiple tasks and projects concurrently.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, both independently and as part of a team, under tight deadlines and with the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently, efficiently, and effectively.

• Attention to detail; strong analytical and investigative problem-solving abilities, with the ability to explain/support conclusions from data analysis.

• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; capable of writing documentation, explaining complex topics, and interacting positively with colleagues and external vendors.

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically advanced knowledge of Excel.
